3. Explanation
Developing and commercialising medicines and innovations that target neuroscience applications requires a multi-disciplinary and niche expertise and knowhow. This depth and breadth of technical capability and partnership is unique to Discovery Park where there is a strategic focus around neurosciences. This programme will inform Innovate UK of the potential benefits of both this innovation ecosystem model for wider application as well as supporting landscaping of business-led opportunities in the neurosciences and neurotechnology. This has been identified as an area of key strategic importance for Innovate UK.
