II.2.4) Description of the procurement:
The Development Plan will include the pipeline of projects for the DL site, set out where future development plots exist, and provide a framework for future development including guidance on massing, appearance and biodiversity.

The Development Plan must assess the capacity of the existing estate to accommodate current activities (so, a review of current activities and resultant space demand); provide an assessment of what space would be required for these activities in new or refurbished space; assess the adaptability of the existing estate to assess which, if any, buildings can be refurbished as part of an approach to upgrade the estate (to condition B); and provide a costed plan and programme of decant and refurbishment to achieve that aim; this will require producing multiple costed scenarios from which a preferred programme will be developed.

STFC expect the document to use and refer to existing information to understand the site and its history.

STFC will host a Supplier Event on Tuesday 22nd March, 13:00 to present the aims and requirements of the project and the procurement process. There will be the opportunity to raise questions. The event will take the format of a webinar via Zoom, and is expected to last 1 hour.

If you wish to attend the Supplier Event, please let us know in your expression of interest email. Please notify us no later than Thursday 17th March. Details of how to join the Supplier Event will be sent out by Friday 18th March.

All the information that is shared at the Supplier Event will be made available to all suppliers who have expressed an interest in the requirement.
