II.2.4) Description of the procurement: The National Satellite Test Facility is under construction at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. This Facility will house the Large Satellite Test Chamber, This bespoke thermal vacuum chamber will be used to simulate the vacuum and thermal conditions in space, and consists of a large cylindrical vacuum vessel lined with temperature-controlled panels. These thermal panels will be powered via a number of power converters.
