II.2.4) Description of procurement: UKRI is looking for a supplier to design and deliver a programme that will engage underrepresented groups with research and innovation, through museums, galleries and science centres.

The programme should consist of two interrelated elements:
•administration of grants programme
•a learning and engagement programme.

The supplier will be required to administer the grants from a total funding pot of £750K which would be paid separately to the supplier via a separate funding agreement.

The programme should also make use of research recently funded by UKRI concerning the museums and galleries and science centre sectors, and any other relevant evidence. The precise groups and beneficiaries will be identified by the supplier(s) but there must be a key focus on groups that are currently underrepresented in research and innovation

The supplier must have:
•A proven track record in administering grants to a wide range of museums, galleries and science centres
•Demonstrable expertise, knowledge and networks within the museums, galleries and science centre sectors
•A proven track record in delivering high quality and innovative learning and engagement programmes
•A strong track record in programme and grant monitoring and reporting, communications, evaluation, and the production of high quality, engaging outputs to showcase programme and project learning
•Demonstrable understanding of the latest developments in research and innovation policy and thinking across government, academia, research councils, and other UKRI stakeholders.
