The LMB believes that no other suppliers are able to service Tecniplast equipment. UKRI intends to award a contract to Techniplast UK Ltd as the only provider capable of meeting our requirements and considers that award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition is justified under regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) of the PCR 2015 because competition is absent for technical reasons.
