HiLUX will be available to academia and industry in the UK and internationally and will provide a broad range of capability through femtosecond to picosecond pulsed laser output, making pump-probe spectroscopy measurements across the UV – IR spectrum and from femtoseconds to seconds timescales. HiLUX will provide new facilities to complement UK and international university infrastructure, synchrotron and XFEL large-scale facilities.
This national facility requires advanced spectroscopic capability that is reliable and well supported. We place high value on company track-record in delivery, service support, reliability and high long- and short-timescale laser pulse stability. A single supplier for all items required here is feasible and provides reliable servicing contacts and uniform software interfacing.
