The Met office is contracted to support the MOD at the Falklands based military Station in Mount Pleasant Airport, where there are synergistic weather environments to Rothera and similarities in dynamic and changing weather as well as an emphasis on constant review of conditions to allow for utilisation of manageable weather windows.
