•Unambiguous identification of correct official patent references where these are absent from current researchfish IP records.
•Identification of which different researchfish records actually refer to members of the same simple patent family.
•For each patent family with at least one record in researchfish, identification of the other members of the same family that are not recorded in researchfish.
