These projects, within the Radioactive Waste Disposal Research Team, are centred on enhancing understanding on the multi-phase (gas, fluids) flow within, and deformation of, low permeability materials being considered as a host-rock and for the engineering components of a deep repository for higher activity radioactive waste internationally.
